Colin and Jean Darwent established Albion Lodge Retirement Home in 1985 to provide care for their own parents and ten other residents. This is where the philosophy of looking after residents as one of our extended family is rooted. With Colin and Jean’s retirement the torch was passed over to Andrew Darwent, who is now the care manager, and over the years Albion Lodge has continued to thrive.
We are proud of our strong team of professional staff who have many years of service and qualifications between them. The care they provide is excellent and in our most recent CQC report a resident commented that they are ‘caring and compassionate’.
